I've been skinning for years - everything from Windows itself and alternative shells like LiteStep to various media players, calendars, calculators, color pickers, and of course SysMetrix. Because I work at a software development company, I've even had the opportunity to integrate skinning into our products. Over the years I've written a few articles for our online magazine, the BASIS Advantage, that covers how skinning and various Look and Feels impact our products. You can read the articles here:
- BBj 2.0: More Than One Way To Skin An App

While I have skinned many programs, a couple of them stand out as being my favorites. I enjoy using the programs and skinning them too, and have spent a lot of time doing both. I've put together a gallery for two of my favorites, WinStep and QCD Player. The galleries show some of the skins and themes that I've created for the programs over the years.
